A baby activity seat has been recalled after authorities received 61 reports of injury in Canada and the U.S.
The yellow sun toy attached to the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper can snap back with enough force to hurt a child or an adult, Health Canada said.
Reported injuries include cuts and bruises to the face. One seven-month-old boy in the U.S. received a fracture to his skull, and one adult chipped a tooth.
Approximately 400,000 of the jumpers with model number 90564 were sold between May 2010 and May 2013, about 8,500 of which were sold at major retailers in Canada such as Sears, Walmart and Toys R Us.
They have a blue fabric support seat attached to a large white metal frame adorned with brightly coloured toys.
Consumers are advised to stop using the seat and contact manufacturer Kids II? for a replacement.
